it's our uol revision class, got to go la. cos i find it useful. never attend any financial intermediation class cos our lecturer is boring to the max even tho she's considered the best fi lecturer in SIM. well, SIM's standard is that lousy. what to do, lazy means lousy school, high school fees, lousy lecturers.

luckily there are foreign lectures fer us altho some foreign lectures are damn boring too. FI's still alright. I personally find uol lectures useful, don't understand why some people think it's a waste of time. I think maybe it's cos the think that they can study and understand by themselves. but i'm different, i need someone to teach me. hahahaha.

so sian, not sleeping yet. gonna watch guess soon. hehehe. planning to move to wordpress. blogger really cmi, they more i use it, the more i feel like punching it. haha.

Hachiko A Dog Story

The movie Hachiko A Dog' Story is based on a true story that took in first half of the 20th century in Japan. We may learn more thanks to Wikipedia:

***In 1924, Hachiko was brought to Tokyo by his owner, Hidesaburo Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo. During his owner's life Hachiko saw him off from the front door and greeted him at the end of the day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno didn't return on the usual train one evening. The professor had suffered a stroke at the university that day. He died and never returned to the train station where his friend was waiting.

Hachiko was given away after his master's death, but he routinely

escaped, showing up again and again at his old home. After time, Hachiko apparently realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house. So he went to look for his master at the train station where he had

accompanied him so many times before. Each day, Hachiko waited for Professor Ueno to return. And each day he didn't see his friend among the commuters at the station.

The permanent fixture at the train station that was Hachikō attracted the attention of other commuters. Many of the people who frequented the Shibuya train station had seen Hachiko and Professor Ueno together each day. Realizing that Hachiko waited in vigil for his dead master, the

ir hearts were touched. They brought Hachiko treats and food to nourish him during his wait.

this was my hairshow, hairlah 2010! at ngee ann city on monday fer Xpect salon. are you guys shocked? I look like a ghost. hahahah. we are on the gothic side so yup. i like the make up tho. very dramatic but nice! I love my hair. they sprayed colors on my bleached hair and it's very nice! in fact all of us look damn good! hahah. the hair show was a success, tho I made a mistake while doing the walk. :(

I'm always like that, forever making mistakes and forever so panicky. I've walked like several times already and yet I still can't contain my nervous-ness. lol. but overall, it was damn fun! the stylists are all damn cool! love them. :)

ohoh, i didn know there's a big screen showing us doing the walk! hahahha. so sad, dont think anybody video-ed. I want to see!! :D

on a side note, for all my friends who voted fer me for the Asian Model Awards thingy, THANK YOU!! Never ever judge a person by one's appearance. who would ever know that a nerdy and decent looking young chap reading a book on a train is a offender of molest? Yes, I met one this morning while I was on the way to CCK station. Can you believe that? A prolly 15 or 16yr old chap touched me just now. Sick to the max. What's up with kids nowadays? cos, they are more exposed to yellowish or bluish shit on the internet or cos schools aren't having enough education on crimes with regards to sex? I mean seriously, so young, and yet so daring.

I shud have called the police right? I let him off cos he's young and I don't have any evidence. cos he's doing it discreetly and I doubt any passengers saw it. and, singaporeans, will they even bother to help? I seriously doubt so. But this chap was so daring that he attempted to touch my thigh with his index finger while pretending to read a book and stared at me after I looked at him. I thought he wasn't on purpose, so I didn't say anything. The 2nd time, his palm was on my thigh and staring at me at the same time. I was horrified. I took off my earpiece and told him off straight that I'll call the police if he continues his act. I'm sure people heard, he still told me yes m'am and walked away.

I shud have called someone, shuldn't have left this person in this world not doing sth to him. he needs help. SIGH. such an asshole. ARGH!

Then again, I did a good deed on my way back. helped a blind board on the train. and saw another secondary sch kid helping the handicapped alight the train. well, mb I shudn't deem all of them as bad, mb some.

what is your definition of a friend? has anyone ever think about it?

Wikipedia's definition shows that: Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism.

And the values found in a friendship?

Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating the following on a consistent basis:

the tendency to desire what is best for the other
sympathy and empathy
honesty, perhaps in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth, especially in terms of pointing out the perceived faults of one's counterpart
mutual understanding

I personally feel that friends don't just share hardship, but happiness and joy too, also able to talk about anything under the sun and will call you or make time for you no matter what, not just one-sided or all talks and that's for a true friend.

So, why the sudden interest to write a post on friends? Well, I realised I have so many friends that none can consider as a true friend. I mean honestly and seriously. All just come and go, and none's willing to give up their time for you? no matter how you deem the person as a true friend. This post may hurt a few people, but well, if you really do feel hurt, then you prolly are a friend. If not, don't give me talks.

Yup, I have nth to hide, I do feel left out. mb cos I've always wanted a true friend who's there for me, who can share jokes with me, who can have dinner with me, or even shopping, movies, whatever, I understand it can't be always because people are busy with lots of things too but you guys know what I mean. I've always wanted to. But it seems like that's quite impossible and I admit to fate. Rather than asking people out and having rejections or with people being so busy or to have friends with big mouths, I choose to be a loner and coop myself at home. cos at least I know, my family's always here for me, especially Lakz.

Lakz is considered as a true friend to me. Although he can't talk, but at least I share many many many things with him. And so that's why I cannot lose him. Was so silly last night crying over things that hasn't happened. I cried because I am so afraid that I will lose Lakz, so afraid that I'll lose my only confidante, and sad that people around me just like to talk.

Well, maybe it's just me. I know what kind of person I am. too direct, too straightforward, doesn't care how my words may hurt people. maybe it really is me. but what is wrong with speaking up my mind if you are a true friend. ohwell.

yes, i'm ranting again. this time it's about huihui's friends. i forgot their names so whatever. this is the 2nd time I've seen such petty, NOT pretty and pathetic girls. omg. i'm appalled by their actions and I thought they were nice people willing to share their notes. but just shifting their bags one seat away so that I can sit beside Peiyi(cos no matter what I was with Py and Huihui), they got pissed off and walked away, sitting elsewhere. like wth. and best of all, they walked up to Py and talked to her acting like I'm a complete stranger to them. I've only known them for 2days and yeah, this is the impression they gave me, pathetic and petty. I mean it's just shifting bags and we were friends. I still can't believe that such people exist. and seriously, i hope they read this.

STOP provoking me, I don't want any confrontation cos they are huihui's friends. i watched a vid on facebook and can't help crying. can't post the vid here but it's about poverty in Africa, kids mal-nutritioned and couldn't even sit up properly, just lying on the ground filled with dirt. they are only 7yr olds and yet they cant be like other kids playing happily, studying happily in classrooms or even eating happily. in the vid, the sister of the 2 mal-nutritioned kids walked miles just to get a SMALL pail of water to bathe her siblings. she's just an 8 yr old and she knows she her responsibility of taking care of their siblings.

the on-lookers then gave them some peanut crackers. A spoilt, selfish and self-centred Singaporean child will open the pack of crackers and start eating themself without sharing. BUT the 8 yr old child opened the pack of crackers and gave the crackers to her little sister and brother, then finally take one for herself.

seriously, looking at the vid makes me feel damn sad. here I am, being so fortunate and still thinking that my life sucks. looking at the people around me, people who are just so selfish and self-centered, putting themselves first to anyone else, people who are vying for power, people who are super lazy, honestly, i feel goddamn sad for them and for myself cos these kids know nothing but yet they know how to share, know how to take care of the younger ones, know their responsiblilities so well.

if anyone of u is reading this, think, compared to them, who are we to say that our life suck?

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of Coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.

When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.

He shook the jar lightly.

The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.

Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full.

The students responded with a unanimous “yes.”

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand.

The students laughed.

“Now,” said the professor as the laughter subsided, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things - God, your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions

- and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

i feel sad when my friends feel sad recently, i put myself in their shoes and this is bad. cos I shouldn, it will hurt me instead. but i can't help feeling upset. i want all my friends to be happy, i really do. i just read a blog of my friend's and yeah, she sounds down, not the cheerful friend that i've always known. :(

i miss all my old friends so much, i really do, even though they are only a handful but at least there aren't any false pretenses around them. they really do feel happy for me when i do well or when i'm happy and really do feel the same when i feel sad or unhappy.

why is this world full of pretentious people with pretentious acts that i'm really sick of. i just want to mix around with people who are real, people who will just tell me my faults right straight into my face rather than saying it behind my back. I don't mind having face to face criticisms or confrontation seriously. that's more true. i hate it when people start telling you that this person isn't nice and still treat that person as a gem. seriously, just kiss my ass. i can't stand those shit and that's prolly why people can't stand me. haha.

ain't someone supposed to be happy during their birthday? I'm not happy at all because of how dumb SIM can be and how screwed up they are. Why did they even bother testing the damn academic profile and show all of our results, then telling us that it's a testing, the results aren't confirmed nor accurate. I mean how screwed up can a school get, seriously. just one day before my birthday, just one day. Am I unlucky or what.

I'm not happy with my results at all even tho I passed everything but different people have different expectations. Some aim for a pass, some aim for a 1st class, some aim for a 2nd upper. I'm only aiming for 2nd upper for my macro cos I studied so damn hard for it. but all I got is a damn grade similar to corporate finance which I thought I will fail. Seriously, how am I gonna get into the management trainee programme in the banks that I'm aiming for. So stressed about it. SIGH.

Then again, it's not really confirmed tho I seriously doubt so. I don't know, it's just kind of sucky to have to know this during your birthday. :(

I know I have been leaving this little space of mine alone for some time. been sort of busy lately cos of work and such and by the time I'm home, all I want to do is to rest and not do anything else. this explains the lack of updates here. now that I'm super free at work, I shall do a little update of my life and also to keep myself occupied. I'm growing moulds all over. haha.

I was accepted as an intern recently in the same company when I was a receptionist. they found a perm receptionist, so I decided to try my luck and see whether I could join the clients servicing dept for a month. the pay is definitely bullshit, but well that's intern pay I guess. I pray and hope that there will be more work to come. I'm seriously dying of boredom, everyone seems so busy cept' me.

so what have I been doing for the past few weekends? well, I remembered going to Heineken green room which was an event organised by my company. wasn't too bad tho it was super hot in there. pictures to be updated soon.

the previous weekend, we had a surprise gela birthday party. organised a bbq party at Mayanne's place, again, pictures to be updated soon, i promise.

the recent weekend, I was supposed to be enjoy myself in KL. but it was not enjoyable cos of the super hot weather and dirty air which is causing me more outbreaks. and the lousy hostel but the room itself wasn't too bad. overall, it was just fine, nothing more than that. we went to Sunway Lagoon, will upload pictures of the rides. should see it, 360 degrees viking. I'm amazed by myself, cos I took all the rides, and I mean the scary rides, so proud. hahaha.

YES! landed myself a job in IRIS NATION, an advertising company which is located at China Street, not too sure how to go tho. haha. was lost for an hour today for the interview(i drove there, lol.) anyway, altho it's an admin/recept job but I think I'll learn loads there. the working environment is fantastic, everybody's working together, don't really have such thing as a hierachy claimed by the office manager and most importantly, it's definitely not a desk-bound job. it starts 8.45am tho while all the rest starts at 9.30am. ohwell, doesn't really matter does it? times are hard seriously, can't afford to be fussy over this and that.

so which means, i'll be busy and tired from thursday onwards! tuition's starting in july too. exhausting but nevertheless, i'm happy. :)

well, i had my interview this afternoon and thinking about it, I don't really want this job cos of the travelling time to town and the long working hours and worst of all, I cannot drive to town! the parking's eff-ing expensive! so what next? wait for another job to come? matter of fact, I dont really have much time left or just take it and tolerate? SIGH, don't know what to do man.

evil and unhappy thoughts kept coming into my mind and I can't help it. I just can't forgive and forget so easily I guess.

honestly, there's nothing much for me to blog about or maybe there is so much but I can't show it here or in public. I am in pain, so much so that I don't know what to do but keep hurting the ones around me. I don't know why, mb it's my way to make people care. mb it's wrong, mb it's not. definitely different views about it. it's wrong to live your life sadly, but who's the one to judge whether it's really right or not. you just have to understand that nobody, not even a single soul wants to be upset and it's just the things around us or rather the ones around us have hurt us unknowingly. nobody can tell you whether is it worth it or not.

I know I have to learn that the world isn't fair. if you love somebody, that someone will not love you back as much. if you want this assignment badly, there will definitely be biasness. haha. ohwell, I'm just crapping and tired.

ok, i just completed gossip girl season 2 and i know it's so not me. i'm surprised myself too. :) season 2's kinda boring with all the breaking up and getting back together over and over again. well, maybe bcos I don't like to see break-ups. haha. but i'm thrilled that chuck and blair got together! i hope they stay.

yes, i'm very slow, but as i've said i don't watch English dramas. but as everybody knows, exams are over and i'm still jobless and i've nothing better to do at home.

glad to say, i've 2 interviews on monday and 1 that i'll definitely reject cos it's too far for me, REX HOUSE, LITTLE INDIA!!! can you imagine. another 1, i hope i'll get it but what exactly is an associate consultant? whatever it is, i hope it's interesting and doesn't bore me.

and oh, before i forget, we went to pasir ris dog farm and brought lakz to bishan park to have fun. look at how happy he was, i'm so glad i made the right choice bringing him there. :)

finally loaded all the pictures! we took 110pictures for that 1 night. lol. it was Ash's birthday, and we went to Blue Diamond which is some filipino pub in tanjong pagar. definitely not my kind of place to drink but I love the company! it's the first time I had so much fun after my exams even tho I only know some of them that day. I think my own friends arent as fun. lol! cos firstly, they dont go to such pubs and they arent open enough. hahah. i love the kissing pictures! haha. frankly speaking, i only know Ash, Jon and my cousin Jes, all the rest are just first timers. lol. Ash's gf's very fun too! the 1 that i had a lesbian kiss with. haha. would love to party with them some day. :)

work today was totally crap. I didn't fulfill my job roles and left an hr later cos me and amanda were damn pissed off with the bloody event coordinator. seriously, I've never seen such irresponsible and unreliable coordinator. He's really way ridiculous and overboard, stupid indian. he should at least just text us whether we are working or not and not wait for us to call him bloody several times. stupid indian. argh. i think amanda's super pissed, quarrelled with him and he still shirk responsibility. ARGH. tho I need the money, I can't work for such an ass. thinks he's some god up there, like hello, u are like shorter than us, fancy telling amanda that he gave us the job cos we called him, cmon lah, u can kiss my ass. sickening piece of shit.

SIGH. Lakz's condition got worse. brought him to the vet again just now. the vet suggested to hospitalise him but I didn't want to and seeing that he was still active just now, the vet decided to let us bring him home. the thing now is that he kept puking non-stop, after giving electrolyte, he puked. so his body has not much fluids at all. he kept keeping himself to 1 corner and when we want to bring him out of the corner, he growled at us. I think he's really feeling very bad. never seen him like this before and I'm darn worried. I'm not gonna sleep and take care of him.

god, please please let my dog Lakz be fine. I don't mind shortening my lifespan 1 or 2 years for him. just let him be good and healthy like he used to. thank you.

did a shoot today, was lost for 2 hrs. club st is damn bloody hard to find, can imagine how relieved i was when i saw the damn sign club st. when i got out of the plc, i was like wtf, it actually was damn near to where i was, and i was just going rounds. it's ok. treating it as lesson learnt. hope the pictures will turn out fine, afraid that i'll zao geng in some pictures. haha.

I'm gonna start looking for a part time temp job tmr, gonna start with recruitment agencies. sigh. the thought of waking up early to work kills me, but i need the money. :(

ohya, brought Lakz to Vet Practice just now, he has been puking alot and had diarrheoa today, so I decided to bring him along to the shoot and he pooed at other people's place, argh. the vet said she couldn't find what's wrong, so again, somemore medicine for him. ohwell, hope my naughty Lakz boy will be fine. :)

yesterday was my last HRM paper, was manageable and hopefully I'll be able to pass. so decided to let down my hair after the paper. baby and I went out for a good dinner and to sing and drink. haha. i didn't bring my camera, so couldn't take any pictures. :(

tho it's only just the 2 of us, at least I felt relaxed for the first time. tho ed kept being tiko and look at the girls in the pub, I couldn't really give a damn but made him drink more. hahha. sigh. and tho cab fare's 36bucks, i aint really bothered by it. oh man, i feel damn sian. i dunno why. sigh.

Corporate Finance today was damn damn damn fucking bloody hard, I thought last year was hard, this year's worst and I don't know why. Are the examiners out to kill us? Can you imagine how I felt, I actually teared while doing the paper, I saw the paper, was totally blanked and started writing something like half an hour later. I was on the verge of giving up, the little devil in my brain was telling me to go home, but I stayed on telling myself no matter what I have to squeeze out the damn bloody 34 marks out of the bloody paper. I don't understand why all the theory qns are gone, is it bcos last yr's theory was way too much and they have to dump all the calculations qns into the paper. I've never felt this screwed. Well, merely 34 marks and I can't even squeeze it out makes me damn disheartened. Do miracles really exist? It did last year for my POA paper and I hope this year, it will too. I know I should be looking forward, studying hard for my next 2 papers, but I'm damn demoralised. SIGH. PLEASE allow miracles to exist and please make the next 2 papers manageable. God bless.
